Calvia Taxis can be hailed in the street when their green light is illuminated or picked up in the Taxi Ranks marked on the Local Map.

Taxis are only allowed to take a maximum of four passengers. However, amongst the Calvia Taxis fleet there is a long-body vehicle to take more people and also a taxi catering for disabled people. To check availability call 971 134700 or 971 680970.

Most of the taxi drivers speak good English and it is advisable to ask the approximate fare before setting off. Fares quoted will be approximate guides only as the cabs run on meters. The cost increases by between 0.50€ and 1.50€ between 9pm and 6am and all day on Fiesta days for trips within Calvia. For trips out of the Calvia area, the cost increases by 1.80€ during these times. If you order a taxi by phone there is a 1.10€ surcharge added to the fare.

Taxis from Palma are slightly dearer and charge a supplement for pick ups from the Airport and Port area.
